The culmination of two decades of obsessive refinement, the new Epic frames are lighter and stiffer than ever. The S-Works Epic FACT 12m carbon frame saves over 100 grams compared to its predecessor, uses a carbon bond and has a 15% increase in stiffness at the rear of the frame. The FACT 11m frame applied to the rest of the Epic models now matches the stiffness and weight of the previous S-Works frame model.

Progressive Geometry
Mastering today's technical XC trails requires geometry that borrows characteristics from trail bikes while optimizing XC responsiveness. Combining precise handling with improved capabilities in technical terrain, we set the head tube to 67.5 degrees, fixed this with a fork offset we introduced in 2018, increased the reach, mounted shorter stems, shortened the chainstays and lowered the movement housing. center at 9 mm.

Different riders, our team of engineers and technicians worked hard to develop every aspect of the Epic suspension into a performance-optimized package. Frame design, telemetry, wheel speeds, spring curves, custom shims, oil viscosity - every detail has been rigorously observed, tuned and tested to arrive at a much faster unit.

The evolution of a chassis.
At the heart of the EVO frame is the same super-light, super-stiff Epic frame. Then we designed a specially designed rear end for stability. Finally, we improved control and performance on the trail by joining the front and rear with a rigid shock link optimized for the smooth metric shock used on the EVO. All built for speed on the trails.
Evo Geometry: Relaxed and Fast
The EVO's 66.5-degree head tube angle and BB bottom casing provide peace of mind and comfort when the trail gets technical. For pedaling efficiency, the seat angle is a quarter of a degree steeper than its predecessor. If you want crisper handling and a little more clearance, just flip the FlipChip - the angles are half a degree steeper and the bottom bracket is raised by 6mm.

To conquer tough trails as quickly as possible, the Epic EVO maintains ultra-efficient pedaling power. He does, however, trade the Brain for a metric silencer tuned for Rx. A specially designed linkage produces a 2.8:1 leverage ratio, handling the pothole-eating performance of all 110mm of travel at the rear of the bike. 120mm forks with custom-tuned Rx valves and a fully intelligent trail EVO balanced suspension.
